||•• FACT: Not everyone is an influencer, these things aren’t forced , some of us didn’t plan to be one , it just happened organically, just read Latasha’s @latashalagos post and I couldn’t agree more . Companies are concerned about The #ROI spent on influencers, but I think they are more smarter now , it’s about the numbers not necessarily the number of followers but the engagement and actual purchase/sale of their product by your influence, that’s more important. . . This may be unrelated but It’s also important to understand your audience, I have almost 100,000 followers, the algorithm is messed up so I don’t get 10percent likes NOPE , but let me reveal something that will shock you , a good chunk of people who follow me prefer to talk about my influence in the DM , oh where did you get that skirt , oh I love your dress etc but wont do this in the comment section , I discovered this in 2015 with a brand that sold out on outfit I wore to an event , I had 5 comments but my picture was screen shot and sent to the brand so much she had to order more fabrics . When I worked with Makari 😩, that one is story for another day 😓,a while ago I asked what I influenced my followers to buy , some answered on the page , more answered in the DM . Some won’t even like your picture or comment but will see you outside and say you are KILLIN DEM SHA😶🤔😂 . .
